About Dublin City Business Improvement District
The Dublin City Business Improvement District (BID) was established by businesses in the Parnell Street to Stephen’s Green area of Dublin City Centre in 2008. Its role is to enhance the appeal of the city centre as a place for shopping, recreation and business development. It achieves its objectives through programmes of enhanced street cleaning, graffiti removal, security co-operation, marketing and events. International research confirms that enhancements in the physical environment and favourable impressions of personal safety create an impetus for economic confidence and prosperity. It is the Dublin City BID’s aim to replicate this experience in Dublin City Centre.

The RAI now represents in excess of 600 members with establishments representing fine dining, casual dining, ethnic, family, coffee shops, hotel and pub restaurants.
