This restaurant was always intended to be a treat, and it is. Just not a wildly expensive one. The food is this season’s good stuff from land and sea, cooked with gentle respect for excellent ingredients, and served by cheerful sorts in a beautiful space.

 

Sample Bites

Pan-fried Barbary duck breast with pickled red cabbage, raisin puree, fondant potato, red wine jus; oven baked cod with pomme galette, pickled cucumber & carrots, French cress, lemon beurre blanc.
